Ready to shop like a local, no matter where you are? Renaissance Hotels has just launched R Finds, a global digital marketplace that brings local artisans, creators, and small businesses right to your fingertips.

From handcrafted treasures to unique, neighborhood-inspired goods, this new platform lets you discover the soul of cities across the world starting with four standout Chicago-based businesses.

This initiative, which debuted on Nov. 19, aligns with Renaissance’s ongoing mission to connect travelers with the unique spirit of neighborhoods worldwide.

The new platform features over 175 products from 20 countries, each selected to highlight the essence of Renaissance Hotels’ global presence. It’s more than just a marketplace; it’s a cultural bridge that offers travelers an authentic way to discover and support small businesses. In celebration of its launch, Renaissance has chosen four Chicago-based artisans to be featured, showcasing the city’s diverse creative landscape.

Among the local businesses highlighted is Sunday Standard, a women-owned boutique offering clean beauty products, ethical apparel, and curated gifts.

CAC Design Store brings the city’s architectural legacy to life with books, home decor, and apparel inspired by Chicago and Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic designs.

For vintage lovers, Chicago Vintage Posters offers over 1,000 authentic, original posters, spanning categories like travel, movies, and food. And for watch enthusiasts, Oak and Oscar, an independent watchmaker based in Chicago, adds a touch of craftsmanship with its bespoke timepieces.

The R Finds marketplace aims to empower small businesses by offering them global exposure without additional costs, creating a sustainable, commission-free platform. Each product is carefully curated with the help of Renaissance Hotels’ expert Navigators, who possess deep connections to their local communities.

“With the launch of R Finds, we’re evolving our commitment to localism from a one-day celebration to a year-round platform,” said Jennifer Connell, vice president and global brand leader at Marriott International. “It’s an opportunity for travelers to embrace the art of discovery and connect with unique makers from around the world.”
