The 19th Annual Lakeview East Festival of the Arts will grace the streets of Chicago on Saturday, September 14, and Sunday, September 15, showcasing an array of works from over 120 local and national artists. Organized by theLakeview East Chamber of Commerce, this highly anticipated event aims to celebrate artistic creativity and foster community spirit.

A celebration of artistic talent

This year's festival will be held along the bustling streets of Lakeview East, transforming the area into an open-air art gallery. Attendees can explore various art forms, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, and textiles. The event will provide a platform for both emerging and established artists to display their masterpieces.

In addition to art exhibits, the festival promises live music on two stages, food and drink vendors, and an interactive garden oasis. According to a press release from the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce, "The Lakeview East Festival of the Arts is not just about visual arts but also celebrates music, dance, and culinary arts, providing a holistic cultural experience."

The festival’s featured image this year—which can be seen on their website—is Ethos Meets Reality by Greta Sandquist, who is known for her modern impressionist oil and acrylic paintings.
