Attention all wizards and muggles! Put your portkeys aside and save your floo powder, because in the spring of 2025, a slice of Diagon Alley will be making its magical debut on the Magnificent Mile.

From the creative minds that brought the Harry Potter universe to life, Warner Brothers is thrilled to introduce the U.S.’ second Harry Potter store. On the heels of the wildly popular Harry Potter pop-up store previously located at Water Tower Place, which closed late last year, and the great success of its current locations, Chicago is set to join the wizarding family with its very own Harry Potter shop.

Nestled between the Omni Hotel and the Ritz-Carlton Residences condominium tower at 676 North Michigan Ave., the 12,300-square-foot retail space will feature all things Harry Potter: photo opportunities, interactive displays and original film props alongside wands, robes, or a trunk that you can fill with your own hand-picked items. The store will offer an immersive shopping experience that will allow all fans to take home their own unique piece of the wizarding world.

No visit would be complete without picking up a special treat from the sweet trolley and a six-pack of butter beer.

While no official release date has been announced yet, be sure to stay tuned for updates!
