Chicago theater enthusiasts have a sensational treat in store as the acclaimed musical parody Titanique is set to make its Windy City debut. This uproarious reimagining of James Cameron's iconic film Titanic, infused with the chart-topping hits of Céline Dion, will run for a limited eight-week engagement from March 25 to May 18 at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place.

Titanique offers a fresh and comedic twist on the classic love story of Jack and Rose. In this parody, "Céline Dion" herself (played by Clare Kennedy McLaughlin) takes the stage to retell the tale, blending her legendary music with the film's narrative to create a “hysterical musical fantasia.” Audiences can expect to hear Dion’s beloved songs, including My Heart Will Go On, seamlessly woven into the storyline, adding a nostalgic yet humorous layer to the performance.

The production has garnered widespread acclaim since its off-Broadway inception, earning the 2023 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical. Its success has led to international stagings in cities like Sydney and London with critics praising its blend of camp, nostalgia and side-splitting humor.

The Chicago premiere is a collaborative effort between Broadway In Chicago and Porchlight Music Theatre, featuring an all-Chicago cast. This partnership aims to showcase local talent and bring a unique Chicago flair to the production.

Tickets for Titanique are not yet on sale, but groups of 10 or more can secure their seats now by calling (312) 977-1710. For the latest updates and ticket information, theatergoers are encouraged to follow Broadway In Chicago on social media.

Don’t miss this opportunity to embark on a musical voyage filled with laughter, nostalgia, and the unforgettable music of Céline Dion. Titanique promises to be a highlight of Chicago’s 2025 theater season, offering an evening of entertainment that both parodies and pays homage to a cinematic classic.
