On Monday, June 5, the Malibu Barbie Cafe hosted an epic launch party to celebrate its official opening on Wednesday, June 7, in the Chicago neighborhood of Little Italy. Hundreds of Barbie fans formed a fabulous sea of pink while waiting in line outside the hot pink gates of the venue.

The buzzing excitement for this one-of-a-kind Barbie-themed popup comes as fans anticipate the release of the new Barbie movie. Directed by Greta Gerwig, the film will hit theaters on Friday, July 21, and feature A-list actors like Margot Robbie (as Barbie), Ryan Gosling (as Ken), and Will Ferrell (playing himself).
